22% of Millennials Blame Dating Expenses as the Reason They have Gone Into Debt

22% of millennials aged 26 to 41 say their spending on dating has caused them to go into debt, according to a survey by September Lendingtree.

The survey showed that, on average, they would spend $91 on a night out. Respondents identifying as women said they would spend an average of $81 on a date, while respondents identifying as males said they spent an average of $104 on a date.

The survey found that 85% of respondents don't mind going on low-cost dates and wouldn't be offended.
