A second Bud Light, $BUD, senior marketing executive has been placed on leave
A second Bud Light, $BUD, senior marketing executive has been placed on leave.
Last week, Bud Light's, $BUD, marketing underwent a change after recent performance, with Alissa Heinerscheid, who has led the brand since June, taking leave of absence, and being replaced by Budweiser global marketing VP Todd Allen, per Ad Age.
In April, it was reportedly announced it was pausing its marketing efforts and reevaluating its influencer partnerships, per the Daily Wire.
Daily Wire claims: “No one at the senior level” of the company was aware of Bud Light’s ongoing partnerships, quoting an unnamed source.
This is after a reported partnership with Dylan Mulvany. They said: “Happy March Madness!!” Mulvaney wrote as a caption on the Instagram post. “Just found out this had to do with sports and not just saying it’s a crazy month! In celebration of this sports thing @budlight is giving you the chance to win $15,000! Share a video with #EasyCarryContest for a chance to win!! Good luck.”
The second source told The Daily Wire that the company was likely going to implement a more “robust” process for evaluating partnerships.
