Airbnb reports a "disproportionate" 31% increase in single-room listings during the third quarter. This comes as 46% of hosts are looking for extra income for

46% of hosts say they used their earnings for food and other items. 10% said they used their earnings to avoid eviction or foreclosure.

The company says longer guest stays will continue to boost results. The longer stays are due to remote working while travel demands show no signs of easing.
