Bed Bath & Beyond relaunches with first store in Nashville, plans dozens more

Bed Bath & Beyond is making a comeback under a refreshed name: Bed Bath & Beyond Home.

Parent company Brand House Collective, Inc. announced its first location will open in Nashville on Aug. 8, marking the brand’s return more than two years after filing for bankruptcy in April 2023, which led to the closure of over 230 stores nationwide. Later that year, Overstock.com acquired the brand and shifted it entirely online.

In October 2024, Brand House Collective — formerly Kirkland’s, Inc. — partnered with Beyond Inc., then the parent company of Bed Bath & Beyond, to roll out smaller “neighborhood” stores across the country.

For the Nashville grand opening, the retailer is reviving its famous coupons, allowing customers to use old Bed Bath & Beyond vouchers and access new ones. The first 25 shoppers to make a purchase will also receive a free 10-inch memory foam queen mattress valued at $226.99.

“We are proud to reintroduce one of retail’s most iconic names with the launch of Bed Bath & Beyond Home, beautifully reimagined for how families gather at home today,” said Brand House Collective CEO Amy Sullivan. “This isn’t just a store — it’s a fresh start for a brand that holds a special place in so many families’ lives.”
