Caroline Ellison hires former SEC lawyer to defense

Per Bloomberg: Caroline Ellison, former Alameda Research CEO, has hired a former SEC official.

The lawyer, Stephanie Avakian was a former enforcement chief at the SEC.

Ellison is also represented by WilmerHale, per Bloomberg.

Avakian focused reportedly on crypto, per Bloomberg, for example, in teh Ripple Labs cases.
