DOJ has told Donald Trump his name is in the Epstein files, per WSJ

ustice Department officials informed President Donald Trump earlier this year that his name was included in the so-called Epstein files, a set of documents related to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, according to a new report.

Attorney General Pam Bondi reportedly notified Trump in May that his name appeared among many others in the records, senior officials told The Wall Street Journal. The documents are said to list hundreds of individuals, including numerous high-profile figures, the outlet reported.

Officials emphasized that being named in the files does not imply any wrongdoing.

The disclosure comes as Trump continues efforts to distance himself from Epstein and the controversy surrounding the case.

Last week, The Wall Street Journal published a separate article alleging that Trump once gave Epstein a 50th birthday card containing a sexually suggestive cartoon and a note hinting at shared “secrets.” Trump forcefully denied the report and has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the newspaper and its parent company.
