Donald Trump says he has agreed to debate Harris on Fox on Sept 4, NBC on Sept 10, ABC on Sept 25
On Thursday, former President Donald Trump expressed his willingness to debate Vice President Kamala Harris three times in September.
At a press conference held at his Mar-a-Lago resort, Trump emphasized the importance of debates and confirmed that he had accepted invitations from NBC News, Fox News, and ABC News.
During his announcement, Trump misstated some of the dates. Both ABC News and the Trump campaign later clarified that the debate with ABC News would be on Sept. 10. The Fox News debate had been proposed for Sept. 4.
According to a source familiar with the plans, the NBC News debate is scheduled for Sept. 25, which was one of the potential dates provided by the network.
Previously, Trump had indicated he would skip an ABC News debate with President Joe Biden, which was also set for Sept. 10.
Trump also mentioned that the campaign had agreed to a vice presidential debate on CBS News, praising his running mate, Ohio GOP Sen. JD Vance, for his strong performance.
