Elon Musk announces Twitter will share ad revenue with creators

Elon Musk has announced Twitter will share ad revenue with creators.

This will work for people in reply tweets, and all Twitter blue members.

This is among the many features promised and delivered.

Recently, Elon Musk sent an email to Twitter employees telling them to write a one pager on what they accomplished in January, what they plan to accomplish in February, and "any ideas you have for improving Twitter," per the Platformer.

Previously, he had asked employees for ideas and reviews.

Other ideas he suggested:
- While Twitter is well known for its character limit, some users feel its effects on communication. Some of these effects include not being able to provide in-depth context due to the limited word count. Twitter account @rawsalarts replied to the slides saying Twitter 2.0 should bump the character limit to 420 instead of 280, and Musk replied, "Good idea." Musk had previously noted he planned to extend the character limit from 280 to 1,000 characters.

- Monetization of Twitter: Musk said:"Combined with improvements to creator subscriptions (fka superfollow), you will be able to publish directly on Twitter & get paid for it. Beta version launching next week."
