Elon Musk has said:
"I have seen no evidence of aliens. If I did, I would 100% post about it on š instantly! SpaceX has almost 6000 satellites in orbit and not once have we had to maneuver around aliens."
This isn't the first instance where Musk has openly considered the possibility of extraterrestrial life. In June 2018, Musk stated in an X post that "it is unknown whether we are the only civilization currently alive in the observable universe."
However, Musk noted that this uncertainty provided "added impetus for extending life beyond Earth."
"The scariest answer to the Fermi Paradox is that there are no aliens at all," Musk wrote in July, referring to physicist Enrico Fermi's queries about why humans have not yet encountered aliens.
Musk is not only personally intrigued by aliens but also has a professional stake in space exploration.
Through his work at SpaceX, launching rockets and satellites for the US military, he has become a major defense contractor in the US.
Starlink, one of Musk's projects, has played a crucial role in the Ukraine conflict, where Ukrainian soldiers have utilized it to operate their drone fleet and communicate in conflict areas.
Musk aims to eventually launch up to 42,000 Starlink satellites into space.
