Starlink, a venture led by Elon Musk, has secured a $90 million contract to provide free internet services in Mexico. Mexico has entered into agreements with nine companies, including Starlink, to offer free internet, as stated by Calderon.
Additionally, Starlink is slated to contribute infrastructure support to Mexico's state energy company until December 2026, according to documents reviewed by Reuters.
The contract with Mexico's Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) has an estimated value ranging from 887.5 million pesos to 1.8 billion pesos.
