Jeff Bezos and fiancée Lauren Sanchez rent Kenny G's home for $600,000 monthly

Amazon Jeff Bezos and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez are renting the iconic home of Kenny G for $600,000 monthly. This comes as just part of Bezos' massive real estate portfolio.

Kenny G's, an iconic soft-jazz saxophonist, house was in Malibu, where Bezos had just returned from sailing around Europe with his mega yacht. TMZ was the first to report the Amazon founder renting the Malibu property for $600,000 per month since March, meaning they would have effectively paid $1.8 million by May for three months (without counting any other potential payments like deposits or etc.).

If Bezos would rent the property for a year, it would cost $14.4 million for that property alone. An article by House Digest detailed some other iconic properties owned by the Amazon founder.

Here are some of the properties owned by the billionaire.

  • Paid $165 million in 2020 for Warner Brothers founder Jack Warner's estate from David Geffen in Los Angeles.
  • Paid $80 million in mid-2018 for the penthouse and two units directly below at 212 Fifth Avenue in New York City.
  • Paid $50 million in 2010 for a 24,000 sqft house next to another Medina property in Washington.

These are just some of the properties that Bezos purchased. For reference, Bezos' mega yacht reportedly cost $485 million.

In January, Jeff Bezos was rumored to have said he would sell the Washington Post to purchase the Commanders NFL team. However, a later report by NYP said that the billionaire denied his attempt to buy the Washington Commanders.

Aside from being spotted on his mega yacht, the billionaire was also reportedly attending events like the Formula 1 event in Miami, where Bezos was spotted with Ken Griffin of Citadel.

The tickets to this event cost $5,000, while bottle service was $200,000.
