Per the people familiar, there were two major concerns that Mr. Griffin had regarding the recent moves and statements of the Florida Governor.

The first concern was regarding previous statements by DeSantis saying that the invasion of Russia toward Ukraine was a "territorial dispute" and that the war "was not a vital U.S. interest. The second concern was regarding a recently signed ban in Florida that would stop abortions for six weeks.

This was according to people that were reportedly familiar with the matter. A spokesman for Ken Griffin, Zia Ahmed, gave a statement regarding the situation.
