McDonald’s, MCD, is launching an adult Happy Meal

McDonald’s is bringing back its classic McDonaldland characters — Grimace, Birdie, and the Hamburglar — in a new nostalgia-driven meal launching August 12. The move follows the return of the Snack Wrap and aims to reignite consumer excitement ahead of the company’s Q2 earnings report.

The limited-time McDonaldland Meal includes a Quarter Pounder with Cheese or 10-piece McNuggets, fries, and the new Mt. McDonaldland Shake — a blue-and-pink berry-flavored treat inspired by a fictional volcano from McDonaldland.

Each meal comes with one of six collectible character tins filled with themed postcards, stickers, and other retro items. Pricing will vary by location.

McDonald’s is also releasing exclusive merchandise through a Pacsun collab on August 12 and a follow-up collection with Away starting August 18.
