Miami Mayor Francis Suarez doubles net worth reaching $3.5 million, he receives his $126,000 annual salary in crypto

The Mayor of Miami, Francis Suarez, has seen his net worth double to $3.5 million. He reportedly converts his $126,000 salary into crypto.

In 2021, regulatory filings reveal that he was able to pay off close to $1.7 million in debt. He also bought a $235,000 boat along with other new real estate properties.

The Mayor also works as a private equity executive and lawyer since 2021 at the Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan. His firm's clients include  Citadel's Ken Griffin and nonother than Elon Musk.

Suarez: “I don’t see anything that presents a conflict other than my time and energy,”

The Mayor also earned from a consulting gig for a real estate developer, according to the Miami Herald. A developer reportedly paid him $170,000 since at least 2021 for help in cutting the red tape.

In June, Lionel Messi decided to choose Inter Miami in the MLS after he was offered a $54 million per season contract. This decision came when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain was reaching its expiration date.

In May, the Miami F1 prices included nachos that cost $275 and ice-cream that cost $245. Caviar was also sold for $400 per serving, while the F1 platter cost $500 while the Florida Stone crab cake cost them $450.
