Multiple shots fired at Trump National Golf Club in West Palm Beach where president Trump was golfing

The Secret Service is currently addressing a shooting incident that occurred near Donald Trump as he was departing from his golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, according to law enforcement officials.

"President Trump is unharmed following the gunfire in his area. No additional details are available at this moment," stated Trump spokesman Steven Cheung on Sunday afternoon.

The exchange of gunfire took place outside the Trump International Golf Course West Palm Beach, where two individuals were shooting at each other. The gunfire was not aimed at Trump, according to the sources.

It has been reported that Trump was never in any danger and that the incident occurred in a high-crime area outside the club.

This incident follows closely on the heels of a similar event where Thomas Matthew Crooks shot Trump at a rally in Butler, Pa. on July 13, causing an ear injury.
