Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang describes possible Europe investment as 'extremely likely'

Per Bloomberg

After an outstanding stock performance, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is now talking about possible expansions, tackling whether the company plans to invest in Europe. To this, the CEO said that it was "extremely likely.

Huang relayed how they were told by Thierry Breton, the European Commissioner, that they should invest in Europe and why. It was noted that Europe would be a "wonderful place to build the future of Nvidia."

This came after the recent meeting of the two and the company's recent value increase as it saw 2022 data center unit sales gain 41% to $15 billion. Huang gave a statement to the reporters shortly after he and Breton met to discuss possible investments.

Huang: “The reason for that is Nvidia would like to be a global international company and what a better place to — and what can imagine a better place to invest,”

At the end of May, it was reported that Nvidia became the first-ever chipmaker to hit a market valuation of over $1 trillion. This was because the company was greatly benefiting from the surge in AI.

Recently, Bank of America noted that Nvidia stock could also climb another 26% amid AI. This comes as the company has cemented its place in AI by focusing on the software, silicone, etc.
