PayPal Retracts $2,500 'Misinformation' Fine After Backlash—Blames 'Error'
Per Yahoo News
PayPal has reverted its decision to fine users $2,500 for the spread of "misinformation." The company said the fine "was never intended to be inserted in our policy."
David Marcus criticized the company saying he used to love the company so much, but the new AUP "goes against everything I believe in." The former president of PayPal said "A private company now gets to decide to take your money if you say something they disagree with. Insanity."
Elon Musk agreed to the reply.
