Raytheon Bags $985M Contract with the Pentagon for Missile Prototype

Raytheon Technologies won a $985 million contract with the Pentagon for prototypes of a hypersonic attack cruise missile. This follows its $3.2 billion SPY-6 radar contract with the US Navy.
The company beat Boeing and Lockheed Martin for the contract to develop hypersonic weapons that run 5x the speed of sound.
