Shaquille O'Neal was among some of the most popular celebrities that were also caught up in legal issues due to their promotion of FTX. The former NBA player is now trying to dismiss the FTX lawsuit, citing how the summon papers were "tossed" at his moving car.

Shaq allegedly said that the court papers were inadequately served, which happened after a three-month chase. The Moskowitz Law Firm, the law firm in the case tweeted out the details of the three-month chase.

The Moskowitz Law Firm: "You’ve been running from us for 3 months & all other FTX celebrities have agreed to receive their complaints. Please have the courtesy & honor to simply allow our process servers tomorrow to deliver our legal complaint on your behalf, so you can defend your actions in this matter"

The law firm also noted that security cameras recorded their service and that they also highlighted how the security tapes shouldn't be destroyed or erased since they could be used in their lawsuit. Now, Shaq's lawyers are trying to dismiss the case, citing how the papers were handed.

The Moskowitz Law Firm managing partner, Adam Moskowitz, shared a statement regarding how it was disappointing and that the video will show evidence. He also shared with the public the news of Shaq being personally served the court papers around mid-April.

Adam Moskowitz: "The video will show Mr. O'Neal finally being served, after many months of hiding, as he attempts to possibly injure the process server. We expected better from an officer of the law. Mr. O'Neal and his lawyers need to stop running and finally deal with the serious allegations."

Some of the other celebrities from the NBA that were sued for promoting FTX include Stephen Curry and Udonis Haslem. In the NFL, Tom Brady and Trevor Lawrence were sued, and in the MLB, there was Shohei Ohtani and David Ortiz.
