Tesla is shutting its solar operations in some markets. The company is canceling solar projects across the US.
Elon Musk's Tesla achieved record US residential solar growth in Q2 2022, up 13% year-over-year, with 94 MW of solar power deployed. The company only started gaining momentum over the last few quarters after it acquired SolarCity in 2016.
Dozens of customers received cancelation reports saying their projects won't move forward. The article said they have received reports of cancelations for markets including Los Angeles, Northern California, Oregon, and Florida.
