The average APR for refinancing a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage has risen to 7.27% from yesterday's 7.25%. In comparison, the APR for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage was 7.21% at this time last week. On the other hand, the average APR for refinancing a 15-year fixed-rate mortgage is 6.52%, whereas it was 6.39% last week.

For jumbo mortgages with a 30-year fixed-rate, the average APR for refinancing is 7.37%. Last week, the average APR for a 30-year jumbo mortgage was 7.30%. As for refinancing a 5/1 adjustable-rate mortgage (ARM), the average APR is 7.53%. In comparison, last week's average APR for a 5/1 ARM refinance was 7.43%.
