Trump Reports Over $1B in Crypto Income, $635M From $TRUMP Coin

Trump's 2025 financial disclosure shows more than $1 billion in crypto income, headlined by $635M in $TRUMP memecoin royalties and over $500M from World Liberty Financial token sales.

Trump Reports Over $1B in Crypto Income, $635M From $TRUMP Coin

President Donald Trump pulled in more than $1 billion from crypto-related ventures in 2025, according to a newly released federal financial disclosure. The filing pegs total crypto and memecoin-related earnings at roughly $1.4 billion for the year, according to the annual disclosure.

The $TRUMP memecoin is the biggest single line item

Trump earned more than $635 million from a licensing agreement with a cryptocurrency group specializing in meme coins bearing his name, an amount that pushed his total crypto holdings past $1 billion, according to a lengthy financial disclosure form.

The disclosure listed earnings of $636 million from CIC Digital LLC, an affiliate of the Trump Organization, the majority of which came from a $635 million licensing agreement with Celebration Coin for the sale of the $TRUMP meme coin. The token reached its peak value of $74.24 within a day of launching and, as of Tuesday evening, its price was $1.67, according to Coinbase.

World Liberty Financial adds another $500M+

Trump also reported earning an additional $526 million from the sale of cryptocurrency tokens through the Trump-connected firm World Liberty Financial, plus another $65 million from sales of equity in WLF's holding company.

The president reported another $196,875,000 in income from investments in Stablecoin Holdco, LLC, the parent holding company of World Liberty Financial.

Crypto income dwarfs the real estate empire

Trump's crypto-related income vastly eclipsed his earnings from many of the real estate businesses that helped make him famous, which included around $77 million from Mar-a-Lago, $122 million from his Doral golf club, and upwards of $30 million apiece from clubs in Jupiter, Bedminster, and Turnberry, Scotland.

Trump's net worth has climbed to $6 billion, up from $2.3 billion in 2024, according to Forbes.

Policy tailwinds behind the numbers

Last March, the President created a strategic bitcoin reserve and U.S. digital asset stockpile, and hosted the first White House crypto summit. Last July, Trump signed into law the GENIUS Act, the first major federal regulatory framework that set standards for payment stablecoins.

During Trump's second term, the Justice Department and the Securities and Exchange Commission have eased Biden-era crypto enforcement efforts, and banking regulators have rolled back regulatory restrictions on banks' crypto activities. Traders should note that policy direction has been a consistent tailwind for U.S.-listed crypto names, though headline risk around conflict-of-interest concerns lingers.

Options market and stocks to watch

Names tied to the U.S. crypto policy trade to keep on watch:

  • COIN — Coinbase is directly referenced in the $TRUMP token pricing data and remains the primary U.S. equity proxy for retail crypto activity. Watch flow around any regulatory or ethics headlines.
  • MSTR — Strategy's Bitcoin treasury makes it a beta play on any risk-on move sparked by pro-crypto policy signals from the White House.
  • HOOD — Robinhood's crypto revenue stream benefits from looser enforcement; watch for reaction to further deregulation headlines.
  • MARA — Miner sentiment tracks closely with the strategic bitcoin reserve narrative.
  • GEO — Separately noted in the disclosure, as Trump's investment accounts bought and sold shares of the GEO Group, a private prison company and one of the largest contractors with ICE, starting just 10 days after his inauguration. Watch for renewed political scrutiny.
