Trump has officially created the "Trump Gold Card," which will allow individuals and corporations to receive rapid residency in the US, and has a starting price of $1 million.

President Donald Trump on Friday unveiled the “Trump Gold Card,” a program that offers individuals and corporations accelerated U.S. residency in exchange for a multimillion-dollar payment. The card is available to individuals for $1 million and will later be offered to corporations at $2 million.

The gold-colored card bears Trump’s portrait alongside the Statue of Liberty and the American flag, with “Trump Gold Card” emblazoned on its face.

“For far too long, we have had millions of illegal aliens pouring into our Country, and our Immigration System was broken,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It is beyond time that the American People, and American Taxpayers, are benefitting from our LEGAL Immigration System.”

Trump said he expects the program to raise more than $100 billion rapidly, funds he said will be used to cut taxes, support pro-growth projects, and pay down national debt.

Applicants can apply through the official website, trumpcard.gov, by submitting documents and paying a nonrefundable processing fee. U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services will then conduct an expedited review and background check. Once approved, holders will gain permanent resident status through EB-1 or EB-2 visas, with rights extending across all 50 states and U.S. territories.

The administration emphasized that cardholder status may be revoked in cases involving national security or other risks.

Trump presented the card in the Oval Office alongside Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick on Sept. 19, 2025. He also teased a forthcoming Trump Platinum Card, which would allow individuals to stay in the U.S. for up to 270 days annually without paying taxes on foreign income, effectively replacing travel visas.
