Trump is considering ending all ongoing military aid to Ukraine after today
Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has urged for an urgent summit between the U.S., Europe, and their allies to address pressing global challenges, with Ukraine as a top priority.
"Every division within the West weakens us all and benefits those who wish to see our civilization in decline," Meloni stated.
She emphasized the need for immediate discussions between the United States, European nations, and their allies to openly strategize on how to confront today’s major challenges—starting with Ukraine, which they have collectively supported in recent years.
US Considering Halting All Military Aid to Ukraine – Report
The Trump administration is weighing the possibility of stopping all ongoing military aid shipments to Ukraine following a meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Donald Trump in the Oval Office, according to the Washington Post.
If enacted, the decision would apply to billions of dollars’ worth of radars, vehicles, ammunition, and missiles currently pending delivery through the presidential drawdown authority, the outlet reports, citing a senior U.S. official.
The reported move comes in response to Zelenskyy’s remarks in Washington and what the administration perceives as a lack of progress in the peace process, the Post writes.
According to the report, the U.S. official “pushed back on the notion” that the tense exchange between Trump, his vice president JD Vance, and Zelenskyy was planned in advance.
