Trump Media pitching $100K/month Truth Social feed to Wall Street
Trump Media (DJT) has unveiled Truth API, a low-latency feed of Truth Social posts, and is reportedly pitching banks and trading firms as much as $100,000 a month for access.
Trump Media & Technology Group is reportedly pitching Wall Street a six-figure monthly fee for the fastest pipe into Truth Social. DJT unveiled a new product called Truth API, and per the Financial Times and Bloomberg, the price tag being floated runs up to $100,000 per month.
What Truth API actually is
Trump Media introduced Truth API on Thursday as a paid-for, licensed data feed called “Truth API” to provide banks and trading firms “the fastest” access to posts from influential Truth Social accounts.
The product will deliver posts from the 10 most influential accounts to customers at a significantly faster pace than a regular push notification on the Truth Social platform. The data feed is meant for organizations like high-frequency and algorithmic trading firms, which depend on quick access to information, and is set to launch next month.
The $100,000 price tag
Donald Trump’s social media company has discussed charging traders and investors as much as $100,000 a month for faster access to the U.S. president’s posts on his Truth Social platform, the Financial Times reported on Friday.
TMTG has discussed the six-figure monthly pricing with prospective customers. The company believes there is strong demand among professional investors because Trump’s posts frequently trigger sharp movements in global financial markets.
Why traders may pay up anyway
Professional trading firms routinely pay significant sums for low-latency market data services, where even milliseconds can provide a competitive advantage in responding to breaking news. One hedge fund executive quoted by the FT put it bluntly: “People will pay because they have to. If you’re behind on that news, you’ll get crushed.”

Track record of moving markets
Trump’s announcements on Truth Social, such as his “Liberation Day” tariffs and posts about trade restrictions on China, have significantly impacted global markets. This makes his posts a crucial source of information for traders, businesses and financial institutions.
Before his administration announced a pause on a broad set of tariffs last year, Trump wrote on Truth Social that it was “a great time to buy.” Shortly afterwards, the S&P 500 surged 9.5% in one of its biggest single-day gains. Trump has also posted favorable comments about companies such as Nvidia and Apple, with those remarks contributing to rallies in their share prices, according to the report.
What it means for DJT
The move would be TMTG’s first step into data licensing, opening up a new revenue stream for the company, which has faced challenges in scaling its media business amid intense competition from larger social media firms.
Shares of TMTG pared most losses after the FT report. For more market-moving stories, see other news.
Options market and stocks to watch
DJT: Watch for options flow and reaction as the Truth API launch nears next month, and any pushback around a sitting president’s media company selling market-moving posts to Wall Street.
NVDA and AAPL: Both have been singled out in past Truth Social posts that moved shares, worth watching if headline-driven volatility picks up.
SPY and QQQ: Broad-index products remain the cleanest way to hedge tariff- or policy-related Truth Social headlines that hit tape without warning.
