World Cup 2026 ticket prices to start at $60 for group matches and reach up to $6,730 for final, the first time dynamic pricing to be used

Ticket prices for the 2026 World Cup will start at $60 for group-stage matches and go as high as $6,730 for the final, with amounts subject to change under FIFA’s new dynamic pricing system. This marks a sharp increase from past tournaments, where tickets in 1994 ranged from $25 to $475, and in Qatar in 2022 from about $69 to $1,607.

World Cup COO Heimo Schirgi urged fans to buy early, especially if they already know when and where their teams will play. “Get your tickets early, because anything could happen,” he said.

The tournament, expanded to 48 nations and 104 matches, will run from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across 11 U.S. cities, three in Mexico, and two in Canada. The first ticket phase opens exclusively to Visa cardholders, from Sept. 11 through Sept. 19. Those selected will be notified on Sept. 29 and given purchase slots starting Oct. 1. All matches will be included in this phase, but availability is not guaranteed. Buyers will be limited to four tickets per game and 40 total for the tournament.

Additional phases will follow: an early draw from Oct. 27–31 with purchase slots in mid-November, and a random selection draw after the Dec. 5 team draw. FIFA also plans to launch an official resale platform for fans who want to exchange tickets closer to the tournament.
